Andrew Henry Tackett is an American Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt and the inaugural UFC BJJ Welterweight Champion, training at Brazilian Fight Factory in Texas under Rodrigo "Brucutu" Cabral. Promoted to black belt at age 19 in December 2022, he had already captured IBJJF No-Gi World titles at both purple belt (2021, middleweight and absolute) and brown belt (2022). Tackett won the 2024 ADCC West Coast Trials at 77 kg and competed at the first Craig Jones Invitational. His aggressive, submission-hunting style has produced a perfect 5-0 professional record in UFC BJJ — all finishes by submission — with two successful title defenses through early 2026.
