Daniel Amundsen is one of the brown belts coming up under Tommy Langaker at Wulfing Academy Haugesund. He competed at the 2024 IBJJF No-Gi World Championship — the kind of mat that separates serious prospects from local-circuit competitors — and is part of Wulfing's competitive roster building toward the ADCC trials circuit.
The Wulfing room is currently one of the densest no-gi training environments in Norway, with multiple internationally active competitors training together daily. Amundsen sits inside that block, doing the work that turns a strong room into a strong career.
He represents the part of the Norwegian scene that is still mid-arc rather than fully arrived — a name to watch on European brackets across the next few years.
