Daniel Snekvik built his jiu-jitsu the hard way: time on the mats with Carlson Gracie Jr. in Brazil and with Clark Gracie at his San Diego headquarters, then back to Norway to teach what he had learned. In 2015 he co-founded Bærum MMA with Knut Roska; in 2018 he and Stian Vatne launched Clark Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Norway, bringing the Clark Gracie affiliation to the country.
As head instructor of Gracie Allegiance Norway, he has become one of the most visible Norwegian instructional voices online, with a steady output of Facebook and YouTube content under the Gracie Allegiance banner — primarily classical, gi-based jiu-jitsu with a heavy emphasis on the closed-guard and collar systems Clark Gracie is known for.
He represents a quieter, more traditional thread inside Norwegian BJJ, anchored to a specific lineage rather than the broader Frontline ecosystem.
