Emme Annie Bringeland competes for OXY Gym in Sandnes under Felipe 'Gargamel' Mota — the same west-coast programme that has produced Julia Mæle and Muslim Patsarigov. As a purple belt she has already broken through internationally, winning gold in Women Advanced -55 kg at the 2nd ADCC EMEA Trials in 2026.
That result places her alongside Mæle and Josefine Modig in the small set of Norwegian women who have stood on the top of an ADCC trials bracket. For a country with a small but unusually competitive female BJJ population, each new name on that list expands the ceiling.
Bringeland is the most recent reminder that the OXY Sandnes programme is currently one of the most productive single rooms in European women's grappling.
