Francisco Ramos Mendes Neto

Francisco Mendes, commonly known as "Sinistro", is a jiu-jitsu black belt under Rodrigo Medeiros who represented CheckMat BJJ in the sport's international circuit during the early stages of his black belt career. Sinistro gained fame in the BJJ scene while competing in the colored belt divisions, particularly as a brown belt, where he won several important competitions of the IBJJF calendar including the World, Pan American, and Brazilian Championships. He later ventured into coaching, founding his own academy.
