Håkon Foss — 'Døden', meaning 'Death' — has built his MMA career out of the welterweight bracket of the Scandinavian regional scene, fighting to a professional record around 9-8 over a long run on the European circuit. He won the Superior Challenge title at welterweight, one of the more competitive Scandinavian promotions.
His BJJ home is Frontline Academy Oslo, where he holds a purple belt and trains under Eduardo 'Teta' Rios. The Frontline room is densely populated with active MMA fighters — Jack Hermansson, Kenneth Bergh and others — and Foss is one of the long-running welterweight presences inside that environment.
He represents the deeper layer of Norwegian fighters below the UFC line: serious professionals who carry the country's flag on Cage Warriors, Superior Challenge and similar promotions.
